A stranger. A hello. A connection.
Anonymous voice and live text. No camera. No account needed.
18+ · Free random calls · Voice is not recorded
Every conversation starts with hello.
Start a call to chat here. Messages stay live and disappear when the call closes.
Leave someone’s day a little better.
Be 18 or older. Be kind. Don’t share identifying information.
Report harassment, sexual content, spam, or suspected underage users. Block ends contact and prevents future random matches.
This is an early beta with founder-reviewed reports—not a promise that every conversation is safe.
Anonymous voice chat, without a camera
Echotok connects adults for one-to-one random voice conversations, with optional live text alongside the call. No signup or payment card is required for the free beta. It is currently open to people aged 18 or older in Canada and the United States.
How to talk to someone new
- Choose “Call a stranger” and confirm your age, country and agreement to the community rules.
- Wait for another person to join. The early network can be quiet; there are no simulated matches.
- Allow microphone access after matching, say hello, and end or skip the conversation whenever you want.
Is anonymous chat completely private?
No. You do not need to share your name with your partner, but service providers process connection data and another person could record what you share. Echotok does not record voice or store in-call text in its database. Read the privacy notice for operational and safety metadata retention.
Can I block or report someone?
Yes. You can end the call, block your partner or submit a report. Reports are founder-reviewed, not continuously monitored. See the community rules and support options.
Is Echotok an AirTALK alternative?
Echotok is an independent, early-stage alternative for random voice conversations. It is not affiliated with AirTALK. Friends, recoverable accounts and paid filters are not available in this beta.
